Duration: Full day and half day
Trainer to Driver Ratio: 2 : 1 or 3 : 1
Aims: To introduce the driver to safe and correct principle of:-
- Towing and The Law
- Loading
- Hitching and Un-hitching
- Towing Forwards
- Reverse Manoeuvring
Objectives: Achieved through a combination of classroom based theory with Power Point Presentations and in vehicle training covering off road manoeuvring and on road driving.
Outcomes: A clear understanding of attaching a trailer to the towing vehicle safely and legally. Towing and manoeuvring it with confidence and a clear understanding of the legal obligations.
